Money & Slaps

*The game rules described here are not final and may be subject to changes before the official release.

The game

Money & Slaps is a one-on-one casual game. Both players start with the same score (one thousand points). To decide who goes first, there will be a mini-game at the beginning, like rock-paper-scissors.

The objective is to reach the end of the deck of cards with more points than your opponent. The deck consists of blue and red cards, each containing mathematical functions. Blue cards give the player an advantage, while red cards create a disadvantage for the opponent.

Examples of blue cards:

  • +100: Increases the player’s points by 100
  • x3: Triples the player’s points

Examples of red cards:

  • :2: Halves the opponent’s points
  • Steal 20%: Takes 20% of the opponent’s points and gives them to the player who played the card
  • -30%: Decreases the opponent’s points by 30%

There are also incognito cards marked with a question mark that hide their value. During the game, you can also purchase premium cards to turn the tide in a losing situation.

All cards are placed on the table with their functions visible, but some are partially covered by others (distinguished by grey-colored cards). Each hand consists of 5 to 10 cards, taking about 4 to 8 hands to finish the deck and complete the game. The arrangement of cards varies each time, requiring strategic thinking.

The player’s skill lies in winning by the smallest possible margin because the winner also takes the opponent’s points, climbing faster in the rankings.

Game mode

The game has two modes: Standard and Premium.

Standard mode

Play using Silver Coins. Opponents are regular characters, offering normal points upon winning.

Premium mode

Play by purchasing Boss Games with Gold Coins. Here, you face more challenging characters, the so-called Bosses (e.g., a cartoon alligator, a samurai, a turtle). Bosses multiply the points earned by a specific factor, allowing for quicker progress in the rankings.

Gold Packs available:

Championship:

A main championship lasts 7-14 days and is open to all players. You can participate in both Standard and Premium modes. In Premium mode, you play against a Boss, who multiplies the winning points. The same Boss remains throughout the championship. The top thousand players win in-game prizes, such as the championship Boss or Gold Coins. After each championship, a new one begins with a different Boss. Bosses can be won or purchased and stored in your Hall of Fame. Additionally, parallel championships will open where previously won or purchased Bosses can be reused. There will also be shorter championships for special events during holidays.

Currently, you can only play against the computer. We will eventually introduce live competitions against real opponents, which will not count towards the main championship.

In the main championship, a maximum of 30 games can be played per day. Any subsequent games will not count towards your score and are for fun only.
